About Us

Cancer Services Support Groups
January 2012

Support groups provide a helpful way to learn useful information and to connect with others facing similar concerns.  Our groups are informal and always welcome family and friends.  We meet at 220 W. Main at Gordon Street across from the Courthouse in the United Way Bldg.  A cancer-related topic is presented followed by time for sharing concerns and tips for coping.  Susan Dusseau, MA, Director, is facilitator.
If you’re looking for more help or are feeling stressed, many resources are offered to assist patients and families.  Call, stop by our office, or talk with Charlie Inscho, RN.  She schedules home or office visits on Mondays and Thursdays to explain your options.  Our counselor, Teresa Harrison, MSW, is available by appointment.  All our services including wigs, comfy hats, gasoline cards, etc. are free of charge.
